🅿

This hotel doesn't have a car or bicycle parking area; you can get here with public transport or use local public parking.

Wayfarer Shin is where urban edge meets chill vibes: close to the busy streets of Nishiki and Shijo, but not enough to be bothered by it during your recharge time. The big rooms will make it feel like you're at home (but even better, cause you're actually on holiday!)

For everyday travelers looking for something simple, clean and convenient in a central location. Wherever you go, Wayfarer is your base of operations for discovering more.

Where you'll be

Shijo

Shijo Station (Kyoto City Subway) and Karasuma Station (Hankyu Kyoto line) make this area very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto City—or for a day trip to Osaka or Nara. New York has 5th Avenue; Kyoto has Shijo. Here, you’ll find all the big brands and department stores. Walk along Shijo Street itself or explore nearby for some great places to eat. If you’re a true foodie, the famous "Nishiki Market" is just a block away. (Be sure to go early—most shops close by 6 pm, a tradition from when it mainly served locals for grocery shopping.) Just a short walk east, you’ll reach the Kawaramachi area, known for the Shinkyogoku and Teramachi shopping arcades.
